Dim River (Dim Çayı)

With cool water flowing down from the Taurus Mountains, the Dim River is Alanya's favourite place to eat on platforms built over the water and escape the summer heat.

About

The Dim River rises in the Taurus Mountains and reaches the Mediterranean east of Alanya. Its water stays cool even in midsummer, making the upper valley a favourite escape from the heat.

Restaurants line the river and serve guests on gazebos and platforms built right over the water. Enjoy trout, gözleme and other local dishes with your feet in the cool stream.

Further up are the Dim Dam and green valley views, with Dim Cave nearby, so it is ideal for a half-day of nature and food.
